Here’s how we repotted this beautiful Orchid in time for a Mother’s Day Gift 🌺 🌱 When removing the plant from its original pot, check for any fungus or parasites. We only cut the dead roots that were soft and felt like paper. This gives them a chance to regrow healthier roots. 🌱 Use soil medium that is non suffocating like orchid bark or sphagnum moss. Coco coir is a good sustainable option. We didn’t add too much medium in the pot so that it can still have well aeration. 🌱 Only repot your Orchids when necessary, or at least every two years when the plant becomes root bound or when the medium starts to decompose. For our plant, it was definitely pot bound so it needed a good repotting and TLC. 💭 Do you like this way of repotting an Orchid? Don’t forget to pair your plant gift with a nice planter to go with it. Moms deserve the best! 🤍 #orchid #plantrepotting #mothersdaygift #orchidslovers #orchidcare #planttiptok #plantsoftikok
