Me and my sister @Sharyah experienced all the things together - trauma, happiness, disfunction, laughter, loss, forgiveness, confusion, life. In the 2nd picture we were in a room waiting to testify against our mom in court. Looking back on our childhood, now I can see how God intended to redeem it. I can see how He took what the enemy meant for evil, and He turned it for good - for His glory. Even when it seemed that the odds were stacked against us. I can see why my childhood was the way it was, and I understand that my mom did the best that she knew how. I don’t have any hard feelings towards anyone, and forgiveness has set me free. If Christ can forgive me, then I know that I can forgive others. God is so sovereign, and I know without a doubt that His hand was always upon us throughout the time we lived with our mom and in foster homes.
