I think Magnus found his new favorite activity! After only a few training sessions on the treadmill, he has very quickly become very comfortable getting on and off of the machine plus jogging at a nice steady pace. Getting Magnus a dog treadmill was always something I wanted to try out. Originally I thought it would be great for those brutally cold days during the winter where it can easily get below 0 degrees with ice everywhere, making it not only uncomfortable for me, but also uncomfortable for Magnus to go on our normal 3.5 mile morning walk. Now that I was recently diagnosed with a serious heart condition, I’m not yet cleared by my doctors to take my boy on those longer morning walks or on our hikes through the woods that are also many many miles long. Having a treadmill now offers me options and solutions to make sure that Magnus still gets all of his steps in everyday. He does still get tons of time outside to be and do “normal” dog stuff; from frequent shorter walks, to zoomies, playing fetch, etc. Now Magnus and I can actually workout together in my gym at home! #dog #labradorsoftiktok #dogtraining #dogworkout #dogworkouts #dogtreadmill
