I refuse to cripple this dog. I refuse to limit her potential. I refuse to suppress her genetics. I refuse to treat her differently than my other dogs (to a certain extent, of course she needs more help in some areas). I refuse to give her any less of a life than she deserves. I refuse to ever be the reason she navigates this earth with less confidence than any other dog. That’s why I have built this dog up since day 1 to be the definition of resilient & laugh in the face of fear. It’s paid off. The most resilient, loving, kind hearted, confident, goofy, rambunctious & joyful dog I have ever had the pleasure to call my own. You walked into my life & forever changed it, Adira Ruth. I’ll continue to be nothing less than your Service Human, for life. You continue to blow me away with your will to succeed in everything life throws at you. I always get told what I should or shouldn’t be doing with this dog… And all I have to say is that anyone else would’ve crippled her beyond repair. She doesn’t know that she is blind, so her only limitation is her handler. Can’t wait to see her try out new sports this spring. 🤍 My angel baby.
