I used to think climbing is a strength sport- the stronger you are physically, the better you climb, until learning that climbing is a movement sport, the larger your movement vocabulary i.e. the jumps/spins a ballerina knows, or the fluency of a figure skater is on ice, the better you climb! This climbing year, my goal is to expand my climbing vocabulary through trying, falling, then comprehending as many movements on the wall as i can :) Here’s to patience and grit! #climbing #bouldering
