I’ve lost 65lbs and I haven’t really been talking about it until recently. Now, I’m ready to get into it. This is going to be long…. For those that have been around for a while, you know I’ve had my ups and my downs. I started this Instagram account for accountability, and it worked for a while.. but then guess what? I lost weight and gained it right back. I know we have all been there. So let’s talk about it. In January of 2023, I said enough. It’s not about how I look, it’s not about the hat the scale says. It’s about how I feel. It’s about living a really long time and having a great quality of life. It was time for me to change my approach. I started reading and listening to podcasts about health and exercise. Specifically related to pre-menopausal women, and I started to incorporate life long changes into my daily routine. Slowly. VERY slowly. - Changed how I eat - Incorporates fasting - Established foundational morning and night routines - Started hot yoga - Started weight training - Introduced Cold plunging 🥶 1 year later I am down 65lbs and the ONLY reason I am talking about it is because I think I have finally broken my very toxic cycle of all in or all out dieting. For the first time I have established a lifestyle I can maintain for the rest of my life, a lifestyle that makes me want to be better every day. The more I live this new life, the better I feel.
