I moved to my college dorms a week after I had my ileostomy, adhesion removal, and replacement of my closed j tube and I won’t lie- it’s been HARD but I’m incredibly grateful for what the ostomy has allowed me to do. I’m going to continue life with the mindset of how many things I can do now as opposed to what I can’t anymore/what I struggle with.
