While there’s no way to guarantee preventing diastasis recti, breathing techniques and deep core exercises have been proven to help reduce the severity of the separation by providing increased support to your core and lumbo-pelvic-hip region while minimizing pain and discomfort throughout pregnancy! On top of these exercises I have also been modifying exercises that put unnecessary pressure on the abdomen.
