we love it here 🥲 #wtf #socialmedia I’ve been told I need to lose weight. I’ve been told I need to gain weight. I’ve been told I don’t have an a$$. That clothes don’t look good on me. That I look like a whale. That I look like I’m pregnant. I’ve been told I should stop benching. That I look “too masculine” for some. Yet I don’t have enough muscle for others. I’ve been told I don’t lift enough weight to be proud. But I also lift too much & it’s “going to take away from my femininity.” I’ve been called a 2. I’ve been called an ogre. I’ve been called ugly. And yet we’re standing 😅🤷🏼♀️ In spite of all the comments & naysayers, I like who I’ve become over the years. I like to think I have a decent sense of humor & that I have good outlook on life. I like to think that I’ve become a better friend, sister, daughter, & granddaughter. I like that I’ve gotten better at coaching & that I’m known for trying to help uplift people, not put them down. At the end of the day, I’m not gonna lie & say these comments don’t hurt. The sting of someone going out of their way to make you feel sh*tty always sucks, BUT it sucks a lot less when you realize the way you see yourself is completely separate & SOOO much more important than how others do ☝🏻 Words can either be medicine or poison. Choose medicine & you’ll have the power to heal. Choose poison & you’ll be the one to suffer. Choose wisely friends ❤️🩹 #realitycheck #fitness #girlswholift #themoreyouknow #itiswhatitis #gymhumor
