Apshynets is a high mountain lake in the Ukrainian Carpathians, located on the northern slopes of the main ridge of the Svidovets massif, west of the village of Chorna Tysa. Has origin from a glacier. It is located at an altitude of 1487 meters above sea level. The area of the lake is quite small - 1.2 hectares, its length is 124 meters, and its width is 100 meters. The greatest depth of the lake is 3.3 meters. Even on the hottest days, the water temperature here does not exceed 12 degrees.
