I wanted to show you the pieces that inspired my drawing of Mizu!! Both by the chinese painter Hua Sanchuan (1930-2004). I tried to purposely feminize her features like her hands and round her shoulders even if it went against her original character design, just to represent her owning that feminine side of her that we saw her repress so deeply in S1. Shes also holding/taking off the demon mask that has both been used againt and in her favour. Shes not afraid of being vuenerable and showing up authentically. These are just things i want to see from her character development in S2!! my own spin on it at least ##blueeyesamurai##mizu##fanart##art##illustration##samurai##procreate
