Our Fayetteville store manager @hummingbirdfay_dee and I packed our bags, not just with essentials but with hope, excitement, and a little bit of our signature wax. Our mission? To spark the flame of our core value ‘Unreasonable Hospitality’ within our new Leaders and Team members in Asheville. We had it all planned out but you know what they say about making plans…when we plan God just laughs. Nothing on this trip went to plan. (maybe a story for another day) Sometimes, it’s the mess, the spills, and the laughter that only a little bit of trauma 🤪 brings that truly bind us. This trip wasn’t just about training; it was a reminder of why we do what we do. Creating candles, yes, but more so, creating moments that light up lives, just as much as our candles do. So we cleaned, organized, rearranged, trained, and practiced our new skills and as we closed the day, surrounded by our newly revamped space and an even stronger bond, I couldn’t help but reflect. The journey of an entrepreneur is never smooth sailing, but it’s the community, the mission, and God’s unwavering support that keep us afloat.
