I think I’m beginning to understand why this golf cart was on the curb sporting a “free” sign.

What a special time! . Thank you @drawingsbytrent for including us in your visit to Boise! When we arrived at the meet and greet on Thursday the line was already out the door! Can you blame folks for being excited to meet the wildly talented Trent? 🤩 . After two hours of meeting new people and signing books (during which Trent was an absolutely rock star! ⭐️) we all headed out for dinner together. . You never know about meeting social media friends in person for the first time, but I’m here to tell you these folks are the real deal! I was so struck by the love and care Trent’s parents so obviously demonstrate for him, the way they are so in tune with his needs and obviously cherish him. We could have spent hours more talking and sharing our stories and Trent, again, was a joy to be with at the restaurant. . And my dream did come true and we have a Trent original of our own! I’m honor of National French Fry Day and Milo’s obsession with fries, we have a panda eating fries! Thank you again Andrea and Corey and all of Trent’s extended family for including us in your special day!

We parents of kids with developmental delays celebrate bigger than anyone because when our kids reach a milestone, we know just how much extra work, extra time and extra determination it took! . And here we are celebrating Charlie and Milo swinging by themselves!! . Well done, Chuckles and Meatloaf!
