We’re always running around in kit, with rucks, weapons, demo, mortars, and whatever heavy stuff your unit operates, so train to do it efficiently without losing all your stamina in one bound. And if you’re not doing cardio in addition to your heavy compounds, same goes there. A lopsided skillset is no asset. And if you’re not in the military, moving heavy weight is fun.
