How to find an apartment in LA: 1. Drive around the neighborhood you want to live in and take a picture of all of the for rent signs. Only one of these apts came up in a regular Google search. 2. Search “Rental companies” in the area you’re looking for and those sites will have all their properties listed 3. Facebook groups like (black LA, ladies LA, etc) 4. Get a realtor this is usually free. 5. Everything you find on typical search engines will be inflated. Don’t be afraid to use them, but don’t be afraid to negotiate. Good luck!
