I wish I could tell you that you just have to do this “one thing” to get results. But saying that would be a disservice. It’s more than just eating in a calorie deficit, working out, and being more consistent. If it were just that, everyone would be getting results. But if you’re doing those things and not getting results, clearly something is missing. That’s how I felt a few years ago when I was at my biggest weight. I felt uncomfortable in my body. I didn’t love my body. I was doing “all the things” but still not seeing any progress. Now 20lbs down and 5% lower in body fat, here’s what I know to be true about weight loss: Yes, you do have to be in a calorie deficit. But, if you have a very slow metabolism and have been in a “chronic” calorie deficit for months/years, weight loss will virtually be impossible. Food quality is way more important than food quantity. It’s not ALWAYS about eating less. It’s more about eating BETTER. Your imbalanced hormones are affecting your ability to lose weight.
