I don’t think I’ve properly anticipated how much my strength would be compromised by choosing to do a cut and try making a lower weight class that I’ve never competed in before. I get hard on myself and get so easily frustrated with training when I feel as though I’m not progressing fast enough. But considering my history with food, it’s already a W that I’ve been able to maintain a healthy relationship with food without reverting back to disordered eating patterns.
